Josh Hunter is an Associate Attorney. He guides clients on a wide range of issues with a focus on their estate planning needs. 

Josh joined the firm in 2018 as a Public Benefits Specialist. Before joining Johnson McGinnis, Josh held a variety of roles that touched the lives of seniors. During college, he worked as a caregiver for a Cookeville area in-home care firm. Before graduation, he landed an internship with the Upper Cumberland Development District's Area Agency on Aging and Disability that evolved into a full-time position while he was still in school. Josh served in several roles at the agency, including Wellness Site Champion; a member of the Senior Medicare Patrol support staff, where he worked to combat Medicare fraud; and SHIP Benefits Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator, where he managed and trained the team of volunteers providing Medicare assistance to seniors and disabled adults.
