As one of the firm’s paralegals, Deanna provides support to the attorneys involved in Life Care Planning matters. Her duties include preparing legal documents and deeds, organizing financial data, and following up with clients.
Deanna brings nearly ten years of legal experience to her role at Takacs McGinnis. She holds a B.S. in International Studies from Oakland University in Michigan, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Oakland Community College. She worked as a paralegal and legal assistant for several injury law firms in Michigan prior to relocating to Tennessee. Before joining Takacs McGinnis, she worked as a legal assistant at TennCare on the Renewals team.
What does Deanna enjoy most about her work? “My co-workers are my favorite part,” she said. “Before I applied for the job, I was told that good people worked at Takacs McGinnis, and it’s absolutely true.”
