Welcome New Employees

Updated: Sep 12, 2023

Meet the latest employees to join the Takacs McGinnis staff: paralegal Jennifer Wheeler and receptionist Hope Campbell. Both joined the firm over the summer months.

Jennifer Wheeler, Paralegal

As paralegal, Jennifer provides legal support to Takacs McGinnis attorneys in estate planning and probate matters. She meets with clients, handles document signings, and coordinates other activities related to client cases. Jennifer brings more than a decade of paralegal experience to the Takacs McGinnis team.

Born and raised in California, Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies from Everest University. After graduation, she spent seven years working for a law firm where she provided paralegal and administrative support on estate planning and probate cases. Following a stint as a full-time mom—and relocation to Tennessee—Jennifer worked as a bookkeeper and office manager for a consulting firm, and then as a paralegal for an elder law firm before joining Takacs McGinnis in 2023.

Jennifer’s first impression of Takacs McGinnis was a positive one. “On the day that I interviewed for the position, I could feel a really nice vibe in the office,” she said. “Working for this firm gives me the opportunity to assist more people in planning for their future than I have been able to help in the past. That is important to me.”

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her three daughters, reading, and traveling.

Hope Campbell, Receptionist

Receptionist Hope Campbell is usually the first person clients interact with when they call or visit the Takacs McGinnis office. In addition to greeting visitors, Hope confirms meetings, proofs and prints signing documents, manages the mail, and handles other administrative duties.

Before joining Takacs McGinnis, Hope worked as a surgery coordinator for a pain clinic in Mt. Juliet and as a scheduler for a spine, joint, and neuromuscular rehabilitation center in Nashville. She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.

What does Hope enjoy most about her role at Takacs McGinnis? “I love interacting with the people,” she said. “At my old job, I used to work from home, so there was always a screen between me and everybody else. At Takacs McGinnis, I can see people and ask them how they are and make them feel welcome.”

When Hope isn’t serving Takacs McGinnis clients, she enjoys reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with family.
